Global Chef's Knife Set - 2 Piece

The Global 2 Piece Knife Set features the Global Model X 8" Chef's Knife (GF-98) and the Global 3.5" Paring Knife (GS-38).

With a newly designed Model X Chef's Knife, the blade is wider and thicker, measuring 2" in height and 4mm in spine thickness at the heel edge, providing more versatility, improved balance, and heft. The longer, fuller handle of the chef's knife has been reimagined for enhanced control and comfort, especially when using a chef's pinch grip. Global's signature dimple pattern not only offers slip-resistance but also adds to their distinctive aesthetic.

Crafted from the finest stainless steel known as Cromova 18 (Chromium, Molybdenum, and Vanadium), the blades are designed exclusively for Global. They are ice tempered and hardened to Rockwell 56-58 degrees, ensuring a razor-sharp edge that lasts longer than any other steel.

These knives are proudly made in Japan and come with a lifetime warranty. The Model X Chef's Knife boasts an 8" blade (13.25" overall) with a 2" blade height, 4mm spine thickness at the heel, and a weight of 9.2 oz. (262g). The Paring Knife, on the other hand, features a 3.5" blade (7.6" overall) with a 3/4" blade height, 1.8mm spine thickness at the heel, and weighs 2.2 oz. (63g).
